Shree Shyam Garments

We run the garment business out of House No. 10 in School Wali Gali. It is a narrow lane in Dhundahera. You can usually hear the kids playing at the school nearby when they are on break. We have been working with clothes here for quite some time now. It started out very small. Now we have piles of fabric and finished pieces sitting everywhere. The street is usually full of people walking. It is not a big shop with glass windows or anything like that. It is just our place in the gali. We handle the cutting and the sewing right here on the premises. Sometimes the sewing machines are going all day long. Dhundahera is a crowded spot, but it feels like home to us. My family stays close by so it is convenient. We handle a lot of different garments. Mostly we just get the orders and try to finish them before the deadline. It gets very hectic when the holidays come around. The lighting in the back room is not the best but we make it work. We do not really have a big sign out front. People just know where we are located. If you find the school, you have basically found our door. It is a simple setup. We do not do any advertising. Most people just hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It involves a lot of manual labor. My hands are usually pretty tired by the time evening comes around.
