Design Plus

Design Plus is based in Shop No. 8 and 9 on the first floor of the JMD Regent Arcade Mall. Being right on MG Road means there is never a quiet moment. We have these two units next to each other, which gives us enough room to do what we need to do. The mall can be a bit of a maze sometimes, but once you find the first floor, we are right there. It is a convenient place to work because everything is close by, though the parking situation on MG Road can be a real headache some days. We don't have a formal reception or any corporate vibes here. It is just a workspace with our computers and samples scattered around. We spend a lot of time drinking coffee and going over the projects we have on hand. The mall environment is a bit different from a regular office building, but we’ve grown to like the energy of it. We see the same security guards and other shop owners every morning when we open up. It feels like a small community inside the larger arcade. We aren't interested in being fancy or looking like a huge firm. We are just a local business trying to stay busy and do the work right. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, watching the mall lights start to dim. It’s just our daily life at Design Plus.
