Confederation Of Indian Industry

Our place is located at Plot No. 249-F in Sector 18, over in Udyog Vihar, Phase IV. If you know this area, you know it’s mostly warehouses and office blocks. It’s a bit of a trek to get here sometimes depending on the traffic, but we’re used to it by now. The Confederation Of Indian Industry operates out of this building, and it’s usually humming with activity. There’s always someone coming in or out with a briefcase or a folder. We spend a lot of time in meetings or just catching up on emails. The desks are usually covered in notes and old coffee mugs. It’s not the quietest place, especially with the trucks moving around outside in the industrial estate. We have a few rooms set aside for different tasks, and people are always moving between them to get things done. It feels like a real workspace, not like one of those empty showrooms you see in magazines. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit loud, but it keeps us cool when the sun is hitting the windows in the afternoon. We’ve got a small area where we keep the kettle and some tea bags for our breaks. Most of us have been working here long enough that the commute feels like second nature. It’s a solid building and it suits what we do. We just focus on getting through the day’s tasks and making sure every single detail is handled properly.
