Our office is tucked away on the second floor of Building-6B over in the Gurgaon Infospace area. It’s a busy spot in Sector-21, right in the middle of Dundahera where everyone seems to be heading to work at the same time every morning. We handle a lot of technical work here, mostly focused on patent research and managing intellectual property for different clients. It’s the kind of job that requires sitting in front of a computer for long hours looking through legal documents and technical drawings. The building itself is pretty standard for Gurgaon, lots of glass and busy elevators. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so you’ll see people wearing sweaters even when it’s boiling outside. We’ve been in this space for a while now and have seen the neighborhood change as more companies move in. Most of the staff comes in from various parts of the city, and we usually end up grabbing lunch from the stalls nearby. It isn’t a flashy place, just a workspace where we get through the daily pile of files. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations. It’s mostly just quiet work and making sure the data we process is right. The days go by fast when you’re deep into a patent search. We have our routine and it works for us. We just focus on getting the research done properly without making a big fuss about it.
