We are over at Sco No. 84 in the Huda Commercial Complex. It is a bit of a busy spot with cars and people always moving around outside throughout the day. Inside Stitch Shell, things are usually a bit cluttered. There are rolls of fabric in the corner and thread spooling everywhere you look on the tables. We started this because we needed something to do and we already knew how to sew. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. The floor needs a good sweep most days but we get busy and just forget. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the concrete steps for a bit until it comes back on. We have a few old sewing machines that make a lot of noise when they are running. Our neighbors in the complex are mostly okay, though the guy in the shop next door plays his radio pretty loud. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the door so people can find us. If you come by in the afternoon, you might find us drinking tea or trying to fix a machine that got stuck again. It’s just a regular work day here for us. We handle whatever comes in, mostly fixing things or making simple stuff for folks who live nearby. It’s a small life but it keeps us busy enough. The walls are a pale color that we haven't changed in years. We like it here because it feels real.
