Centre For Sight - Gurgoan

Our place is located over on New Railway Road, at Plot No- 399/1 to be exact. The vibe here is a lot different than the newer parts of town. The road outside is constantly filled with cycles, rickshaws, and people carrying all sorts of things. Here at Centre For Sight - Gurgoan, we get a lot of people just walking in because they passed the sign while running errands. Folks come in complaining that things look blurry or they just need a simple eye test for work. This building has been standing for a while. It is not the most modern place you will ever see, but it works fine for what we need to do. We spend a lot of time cleaning the lenses and the equipment because the dust from the road gets everywhere. The front desk is usually a bit of a mess with papers and old files, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. That is just part of living on Railway Road. We know the man at the tea stall next door quite well. He brings over hot chai when we finally get a break. We have seen many families come through these doors over the years. Kids getting spectacles and elderly people who can't read the paper anymore. We don't have that corporate feel. It’s just a local spot.
