Cairn India Ltd

Cairn India Ltd is based in the Dlf Atria building over on Jacaranda Marg. This is in Phase 2 of DLF City, so the whole area looks very modern and polished compared to other parts of town. We have our office space in this glass-fronted building. It is the kind of place where you have to show your ID at the front desk every single time you walk in. The air conditioning is always running, which is a relief when the summer heat hits the pavement outside. We spend most of our time at our computers or in meetings that seem to go on a bit longer than they should. The view from the windows is mostly other office blocks and the paved roads of the DLF area. There are a few trees along Jacaranda Marg, but it is mostly a place for business. Lunchtimes usually mean a quick walk to one of the nearby spots to grab a sandwich or a coffee. It is a professional atmosphere, but we still have our jokes and the usual office talk to get through the afternoon. It is a long commute for some of us, but the office itself is comfortable enough. We don't really do anything flashy here, just the daily grind of the energy business. It is a lot of spreadsheets and phone calls, staying focused until it’s time to head back out into the traffic.
