Blue Dart Express Ltd. is situated at H.No 141-A/1 in the New Colony area of Gurgaon. It’s a bit different from the high-rise office towers you find on the other side of the city. Here in 122001, things feel a little more grounded and local. Our day starts pretty early when the trucks arrive with the first batch of shipments. The space inside is mostly dedicated to sorting through boxes and letters of all sizes. It gets pretty loud when everyone is moving around at once. We’ve got a small counter for people who walk in to drop off their packages. The floor is concrete and shows the wear and tear of all the trolley wheels over the months. Most of us have been working here long enough to know the regular customers who come by every week. The New Colony streets can be narrow, so the drivers have to be careful when they’re heading out. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. It’s a functional place where the goal is just to keep the parcels moving through the system. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but we keep things going anyway. There’s a small fan in the corner that doesn’t do much, but we keep it on. It’s just a busy local branch doing the daily grind of logistics without any extra layers or corporate polish added on top.
