Bata India Ltd.

We spend most of our time here at Bata India Ltd. in Sector 17, right across from the M.T.I. building. It’s a busy spot and people are always walking by, popping in to see what shoes we have on the shelves this week. The shop isn't fancy but it does the job. Most mornings start with unlocking the front gate and tidying up the displays before the first customers arrive. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside it's just us and the rows of boxes. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Some folks come in knowing exactly what they want, while others just want to sit down and try on a few pairs to see what fits right. We don't do much shouting about what we do, we just open the doors and help whoever walks in. Sometimes the AC acts up or the floor needs a good sweep after a rainy day, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a place like this. It’s a straightforward business. We keep the stock moving and make sure the sizes are where they should be. If you are near the M.T.I. landmark, you will see our sign. It’s just a regular shoe store for regular people living their lives. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to chat or look for school shoes for their kids. That’s about all there is to it.
