Our office is out in Imt Manesar, at number 19 in Sector-Iv. It’s a bit of a drive for some of us, but it’s where all the industrial action is. Banox Exim Pvt. Ltd. is basically an export-import setup. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking emails about shipments. The warehouse part is right behind the office, so there’s a lot of noise from trucks loading and unloading. It’s dusty work. We deal with a lot of different products, so you never really know what’s going to be on the manifest each morning. We have a small team here. We aren't big on titles or anything like that. Everyone just chips in when a container needs to be cleared or a client has a question. The office furniture is a bit mismatched, mostly stuff we’ve picked up over the years. We have a kettle that’s always on. Manesar is quite dry and hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going full blast. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. It’s more of a practical place where we get things done. Sometimes things go wrong with the customs paperwork and we have to spend hours fixing it. It’s just part of the job. We like it here because it’s close to the highway. It makes moving goods a lot easier. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the trade moving smoothly. That's about it really.
