Ayush Garments

Out here in Pace City-2, things are a bit different than the main city. We are at No. 739-a, right in the Khandsa area. Ayush Garments is basically a big workspace filled with the sound of sewing machines and people talking. It’s an industrial spot, so there are always trucks moving around and the smell of dust in the air. We don't have a big front desk or anything. You just walk in and see the work happening. We spend most of our time looking at patterns and making sure the stitching is okay. It’s a lot of sitting and standing in the same spot for hours. The lighting isn't always the best, but we make it work with what we have. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost finding No. 739-a because all these buildings look a bit similar. We have to go out to the road to wave them in. It's just a regular daily routine for us. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long afternoons. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just take the orders and try to finish them on time. The building is sturdy and does the job, which is all we really care about. When the shift ends, the silence feels a bit strange after all that noise. Then we go home and do it again tomorrow.
