Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital

If you head over to NH Plot4 in Sector 55, just off Golf Course Road, you’ll find Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital. It’s tucked away a bit but once you see the sign you’ll know you’re in the right spot. We’ve been focusing on eyes for a long time now. The building is a decent size and we have a few different rooms for the machines and the checkups. It’s usually pretty quiet inside compared to the noise coming off Golf Course Road. That road is always busy with cars and people rushing around. Inside here, we try to keep things a bit slower. We have some old posters on the walls and the chairs in the waiting room are a bit worn but still comfortable enough. Working with eyes is delicate work, so we have to stay focused. The staff has a routine we follow every day. We check the equipment and make sure the files are in order. It’s not the most exciting work but it’s what we do. People come from all over this part of town because they know we are here. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone’s neighbor or cousin told them about us. We just try to keep the place tidy and help whoever walks in. Sector 55 has grown a lot and we’ve seen new buildings go up all around us. We are just one of the older spots that stayed the same.
