Aluminium Craft & Glass House

Our shop is in the Mahinder Partap Market on the Sec. 5 Road. We are quite close to the Sheetla Mata Mandir, so you can often hear the temple bells from where we work. We go by Aluminium Craft & Glass House, which pretty much describes everything we do. The shop is usually full of long aluminium sections and large sheets of glass leaning against the walls. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we are working on a big frame. We do a lot of cutting and drilling, so there is always a bit of noise and metal shavings on the floor. It is hard work and your hands get pretty tired by the end of the day. The market is always lively, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We don't really do any fancy advertising or have a big website. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or their cousin told them about us. Sometimes we have to go out to people's houses to measure things, and that takes up a good chunk of the afternoon. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. We just wear old clothes that we don't mind getting a bit dirty. It is a straightforward business. We just take the materials and turn them into what the customer needs for their windows or doors. That is how we make our living.
