Manesar is a busy place, and we are right in the thick of it at Plot No. 94, Sector-7, in the IMT area. Alliance Automation Systems is where we put together the systems that help other factories run better. It involves a lot of wiring and metal frames. We spend a good chunk of our time looking at screens and then looking at the hardware to see why it isn’t moving right. It can be frustrating when a sensor doesn’t trip, but we eventually figure it out. The plot is a decent size, but it feels cramped once you get all the components and tools spread out. We have a few guys who are always debating the best way to route a cable through a cabinet. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with parts scattered around, but we generally know where everything is. The heat in Haryana can be pretty brutal, especially inside a shed without much of a breeze. We just drink plenty of water and keep the work moving. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to take your coat. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor with a wrench or a laptop. It is just a group of people trying to make machines work. We don’t use big words or fancy titles. We just do the daily work and go home.
