So, this is the lifestyle retail part of the business for “itc Limited€, and we are tucked away in Dundahera. Our office is at House No-1671, on the second floor. It’s right near the government high school, which is the main landmark everyone uses to find us. This part of Gurgaon is quite different from the shiny Cyber City area. It’s a bit more rugged and real. We spend our days dealing with retail stuff and making sure everything is organized for the business. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got our desks, some files, and a lot of samples sitting around on the floor. It gets quite noisy because the school is so close, especially when the kids are coming or going in the morning and afternoon. We don’t have a lot of formal rules about how we talk or dress here. We just get the work done and head home. The second floor gets quite warm in the summer, but we have some fans that keep us going through the day. It’s a small group of us working in this particular division of the company. We don’t really worry about big corporate images or polished presentations. We just look at what needs to be shipped out or tracked and do it. It’s a simple way of working that seems to suit us just fine. No one is trying to be anything they aren't. We just handle the retail side and keep moving.
