Manesar is a long way out for some people, but for us, IMT Sector 7 is just where we work every day. Being at plot 210, we’re surrounded by other factories and the constant sound of trucks. Our space is filled with the kind of machinery that makes a lot of noise and needs a lot of grease. We’ve been here at Advance Engineers for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much. We get in early, check the machines, and start on whatever parts are needed for the week. The concrete floors are hard on the feet, so most of us wear those thick-soled boots. It’s an industrial life—lots of steel, coolant smells, and the bright glow of welding every now and then. We don’t have fancy carpets or a big lobby. You walk in and you’re pretty much right there in the thick of it. During the monsoon, the rain hits the roof so loud we can't even hear ourselves talk, so we just point and nod to get things done. Lunch is usually a quick affair in the small break area we carved out near the back door. It’s just about making things that work and making sure the dimensions are close enough to what the customer asked for. It's a grit and metal kind of place, and we're used to the heat and the noise.
