Achyut Insurance Broker is located in the Sushant Shopping Arcade at the Gurgaon H.O. The arcade is a busy place with lots of different shops and offices all squeezed together. We have our little corner here where we handle insurance stuff. It’s a lot of reading through fine print and explaining things to people who come in looking confused. The shopping arcade has a specific feel to it, always people walking past the windows and the sound of footsteps in the hallways. We have a few desks and lots of files everywhere because insurance involves so much paper. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to different companies and trying to figure out the different options for our clients. It’s not the most exciting work in the world but it’s important and it keeps us busy. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall downstairs and talk about the day. We aren't trying to be some massive corporate brokerage, just a local spot in Sushant Shopping Arcade where people can come and get their questions answered. The office is a bit cluttered but we know where everything is. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day and we like being part of the arcade community. We stay open during the regular hours and just take things as they come. There is always some paperwork waiting on the desk when we get in every morning and that is just fine.
