Our office is tucked away at the Omaxe Nile Apartments on Sohna Road, specifically inside the Karnik Tower in room 503. Gurgaon is a very fast-paced place, and there always seems to be something under construction or a new road opening up right when you get used to the old one. We are up on the fifth floor, which is a decent enough space for the work we do. We spend a lot of our time on computers here at Accenture Pvt Services Ltd, handling different service requests and making sure everything runs like it is supposed to. The commute on Sohna Road can be a real test of a person’s patience on some mornings, but we have all gotten used to it by now. Inside the office, it is mostly quiet except for the constant sound of people typing. We aren’t some massive team in a glass tower; we are just the specific group of people working here at this branch. We try to eat our lunch together whenever there is a bit of a break in the workload. The Nile apartments area is quite busy, so there is always a place nearby to grab a quick bite to eat. We do not have many decorations on the walls, just the calendars and notes we need to get through the day. It feels like a very regular, honest workplace. People come in, do their shifts, and then head home to their families. We just try to keep things organized.
