Abhimanyu Bhatia

My workspace is at H 128 in Sector 17. It’s a regular building and I’ve been using this space for quite a while now. I do most of my work right here at a big wooden desk. There are always stacks of papers and folders around because there is a lot to keep track of. Sector 17 is a familiar place for me, and I like being tucked away at this address. It’s quiet enough that I can get my drawings done without too much distraction. I don’t have a big team or any fancy office equipment. It’s mostly just me, my computer, and a lot of drawing tools. I usually start early before the traffic picks up. I spend hours looking over plans and making sure every detail is accounted for. Sometimes a neighbor stops by for a chat or a client comes to see the latest progress. I have a small area to make some tea and a couple of extra chairs. It’s not a formal place, just a room where work gets finished. The walls have some old maps and a few sketches pinned up. I like the routine of coming here every day and seeing what needs to be tackled next. It’s a practical setup that works for me. I don’t need much more than a quiet corner and a good light to do my job well. It's a lot of solo work but I enjoy the process of figuring out the designs on my own.
