Our garage is situated in the New Rajinder Complex over in Huda Part-2. It’s a decent-sized space where we take in cars for repairs and general servicing. You’ll usually see a few vehicles parked out front waiting for their turn. Inside, it’s all tools, jacks, and spare parts scattered around. We have a couple of lifts to get the cars up so we can look underneath. It gets quite greasy, as you’d expect from a motor shop. We aren't like those big authorized service centers with the clean white floors and coffee machines. Here, you just get your car fixed by people who know how engines work. We spend most of our time under hoods or changing out brakes. The complex has other shops too, so there’s always people moving about. We try to get things done as fast as we can, but some parts take a while to arrive. We have a small desk where we keep the keys and write out the bills by hand. It’s a lot of hard work and our uniforms are never really clean for long. Huda Part-2 is a good location for us since many people live nearby and can just drop their cars off on their way to work. We’ve been doing this for several years now and have a regular group of customers who trust us with their vehicles. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the number of cars, but we just take them one by one.
