Aarfour Merchandising Pvt.Ltd. is tucked away in DLF City Phase 2. The address is M-13/22. If you know the area, you know it’s a mix of houses and offices. Our place is pretty quiet compared to the main roads of Gurgaon. We deal with merchandising, which basically means our office is constantly filled with samples of all kinds. There are fabrics, plastic bits, and cardboard boxes piled up in the corners. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend a lot of time checking quality and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. The walk from the metro isn't too bad if the weather is okay, but in the summer it’s a struggle. Most of us have been working here together for a long time. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees, just a dedicated crew in a residential-style office. We have a small kitchen where someone is always making tea. The windows look out onto the trees in the colony. It’s a nice change from the glass towers you see everywhere else in the city. Work can get pretty hectic when a big order is due, but we usually manage to keep things under control. It’s just a normal day-to-day life of checking orders and talking to suppliers. We like the vibe of Phase 2; it feels more like a neighborhood than a business park.
