We are located at House Number 60 in Abrol Nagar, right here in Pathankot. It’s a handy spot because the Sub Post Office is just a short walk away, so we never have to go far for mail. Being in Gurdaspur district means we see a lot of people passing through on their way to the hills. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, with regular houses and a few small shops selling groceries. Our office isn't very large, but it fits what we need for the daily operations. We deal with equipment and all the paperwork that comes with it, so there are always files stacked somewhere. The building is older, with thick walls that stay cool even when the Punjab summer gets really hot outside. We have a small yard where some of the staff park their scooters. Pathankot is a busy junction, but Abrol Nagar stays tucked away from the main highway noise mostly. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There is a small tea stall nearby where we get our mid-morning fix. It’s a very local operation, nothing like the big offices you see in Chandigarh or Delhi. We know the postman well and he knows where to leave the parcels if we are busy. It’s just a regular workplace where people show up, do their jobs, and head home to their families when the day is done at five.
