Primary School Gondiya

This school is located in Village Kalanaur, which is part of the Gurdaspur district. We are right on the Gurdaspur Road, so it's quite easy to find if you're driving through the area. Being in a village means things are a bit quieter than the city, though the road gets its fair share of trucks and tractors. We mostly see kids from the surrounding farms and houses coming in early. The building is a standard one, nothing too modern, but it stays standing through the seasons. We spend our days teaching the primary levels. It gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up off the fields, but we just sweep it out and keep going. Gurdaspur - 143521 is the pin code we use for mail. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who live nearby and make sure the children are learning what they need. There is a lot of green around the school which is nice during the winter months when the sun is out. It’s a practical place where work gets done without much fuss. We don’t have fancy uniforms or big buses, just local kids walking or getting dropped off by their parents. It’s just a normal part of the community here in Kalanaur, doing what primary schools do every single day of the week.
