We have been here at H.No.6 Jail Road Power Colony for a while now. Gurdaspur is our home base. It is a quiet spot, and most people around here know where the Power Colony is. When you deal with elevators, there is a lot of technical stuff to handle every day. We spend most of our time out on sites or checking parts in the office. It isn’t a flashy job. Some days are long, especially when a machine acts up and we have to figure out why. We just get on with the work. The team is small. We know the local roads well because we are always driving around to different buildings. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get around, but we manage. People stop by the office sometimes just to ask a quick question. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a regular workspace where we keep our tools and paperwork. There is usually someone around if you need to talk about a lift installation or if something isn't running right. We’ve seen how much the area has grown over the years. More buildings mean more lifts to look after. It keeps us busy. We try to keep things simple and just do what needs doing. If you are looking for us, we are right there near the main road. It’s not hard to find if you know the landmark.
