Mahajan Trading Co.

Mahajan Trading Co. is right in the middle of things in Pathankot. We are located in Gandhi Nagar, but the way the roads meet here is a bit confusing. We’re on G T Road and Gurdaspur Road, and we’re also near the A P Palace on Batala Road. Basically, if you are at that big junction, you are close to us. It’s a very noisy part of town because of all the trucks and buses passing through on the main roads. We’ve been trading from this spot for years. The building is older and has seen a lot of seasons. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. Instead, we have a lot of stuff coming in and going out every day. Being near A P Palace makes it easy to tell people where to go. Gandhi Nagar is a busy area, so there is always someone coming in to ask about prices or to pick something up. Sometimes it feels like we spend half our day just navigating the traffic outside our front door. But it’s a good location for a trading business because everyone has to pass by here eventually. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the start. It's a family-style environment where we just get on with the work. No big speeches, just trading goods and talking to the locals who stop by.
