We are based in Pathankot, right on Dhangu Road. If you know where the Himalaya Bakery is, we are very close to that. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows the smell of their bread in the morning. We do a bit of everything here, general trading and supplying whatever is needed by the local shops. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We have some wooden chairs that have been around since we started. It’s a family-run thing, mostly. I’m usually at the front desk while my brother handles the deliveries. Dhangu Road is always busy, especially in the afternoons. We get a lot of people dropping in just to chat because we’ve been here so long. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most of our business happens over the phone or face-to-face. It’s a bit dusty because of the traffic outside, but we clean it every morning. We have a small storage room in the back that is always a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than we expect, and then we have to rush to get more from our suppliers. It's just the way it goes. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the shop running and making sure the orders go out on time. Pathankot is a nice place to live and work, so we are happy where we are.
