Lemon Tree Hotels

Up here in Pathankot, our office is located at H/No-1059 in Sarain Mohalla. This is in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab. It is a bit different from the big Lemon Tree Hotels you might see in the major cities. This place is more of a local base for us. Pathankot is a gateway to the hills, so there is always a bit of a buzz in the air. The office itself is in a regular house that has been converted for work use. It has a very homely feel to it, not like a cold office building. We have the usual stuff like computers and printers, but there is also a kitchen where we make tea and heat up our lunch. The street outside is fairly narrow, and we know most of the people who live nearby. Working here means we are not stuck in a big city traffic jam every morning. We handle a lot of the regional coordination from this spot. It can get quite cold in the winter, so we usually have a small heater running under the desk. We do not have a big corporate sign outside, just a small one so people know they are at the right place. It is a quiet way to work, focusing on the hotel business without all the noise of a massive headquarters. We just keep things moving and make sure the administrative side is taken care of for the area.
