You can find us on Aliwal Road in Batala, right near the Zamidara Pipe Store. If you’re coming through Gurdaspur, it’s a pretty easy spot to locate. We are Khosla Grains, and as the name says, we spend our days dealing with various types of grains. Our place is more of a warehouse and functional office than anything else. It’s a bit dusty because of all the grain moving around, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy reception area. Usually, you’ll just find us in the back or talking to drivers. We’ve been in this area for quite some time, so we know the local farmers and the market cycles pretty well. We don't believe in using big words to describe what we do. We just buy, store, and sell grain. It’s a straightforward business that requires a lot of heavy lifting and paying attention to the weather. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We don't have a marketing department; we just rely on our reputation and the fact that we’ve been here on Aliwal Road for so long. Some days it's hectic with trucks lined up, and other days it's just us doing maintenance and checking the stock. We just try to be honest in our dealings and keep the business running smoothly without any unnecessary drama or corporate polish. It’s a good way to make a living in Punjab.
