Humble Cafe India Private Limited

Humble Cafe India is out in Village Dhandoi, in the Batala Tehsil of Gurdaspur. We chose this spot because we wanted something away from the main city noise. It’s a simple building where we serve coffee, tea, and some snacks to the local folks and anyone passing through the district. Gurdaspur is a nice place, and being in Dhandoi gives us a bit of a slower pace. The cafe isn't full of modern art or expensive furniture. We just have some sturdy tables and chairs and a small kitchen area. Most of our customers are people we know from the village. They come in to sit for a bit and talk about their day. We started this because we thought our area needed a place where people could just hang out without feeling rushed. We don’t have a big menu. We just make what we are good at. Sometimes the supply truck from Batala is late, so we run out of things, but our regulars don’t mind too much. It’s a small team, usually just a couple of us working the whole day. We clean the tables, sweep the floors, and make sure the tea is hot. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like the quiet mornings and the conversations we have with the neighbors. It’s just a little cafe in a quiet village, doing what it can.
