Faiz Engineering Works Ltd.

Our workshop is right on G.T. Road in the Simble area. It’s a loud place because of all the trucks passing by and the machines running inside. We’ve got a few lathes and some welding equipment that we use every day. It’s mostly metal work and fixing parts for local machinery. The floor is usually covered in iron shavings and oil, no matter how much we sweep. It’s a limited company on paper, but it feels more like a family shop. There are about eight of us working here now. We take on whatever engineering jobs come our way, mostly stuff that people bring in from the nearby farms or small factories. We don't really have a front office, just a small desk near the main gate where we keep the bills. The roof leaks a little when it pours, so we have to move the machines around. We’ve been here for years, and the G.T. Road location makes it easy for people to drop off heavy stuff. It’s dirty work and our hands are always black from the grease, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on getting the welding or the cutting done right so the customer can get back to work. It's a busy life but we're used to the noise and the heat in the summer. Most of the guys have been here for over ten years, so we’re a pretty tight group even if we complain.
