Our office is tucked away at 519, New Shastri Nagar, right in the heart of Pathankot. It is a decent spot to work from, even if the traffic nearby gets a bit loud during the rush hours. Eastman Impex isn’t a huge corporate giant with glass walls; we just have a practical workspace where the paperwork gets sorted and the phone calls never seem to stop. We handle a lot of different things coming in and going out, so there is always someone running around with a clipboard or checking a delivery note. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or ride our bikes to work every morning. The winters here in Pathankot can get quite chilly, so we usually have some tea going to keep everyone warm while we check the inventory. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just focus on getting the orders right. Sometimes the internet acts up or the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just carry on with whatever needs doing by hand. It’s a honest way to make a living and we take some pride in knowing our way around the import and export business. Being in New Shastri Nagar means we are close to everything we need, which makes the daily grind a little easier to manage for all of us here.
