Chaudhary Ram Lal Ek Asha Helping Foundation

Started out in Gurdaspur, right here in Ram Sharmaa Colony on Kanuwan Road. Most people know the area because it’s a busy spot but our corner is a bit quieter. We operate out of Bindu Bala’s place. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just some local folks trying to keep the name of Chaudhary Ram Lal alive through some small efforts. The foundation name, Ek Asha, means one hope, and that’s what we talk about when neighbors stop by. We’ve been around this part of Gurdaspur for a while now. You’ll see the house easily if you’re walking down Kanuwan Road. It’s just a regular home where we handle things. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but inside it’s mostly just us working through paperwork or planning what to do next in the community. We don't have a huge staff. It’s mostly family and a few friends who put in their time when they can after their regular jobs. People drop in to ask questions about how things work here. We try to explain it simply without making it sound complicated. It's just a local foundation trying to stay active in this specific neighborhood. Being in a residential colony makes it easier for people to reach us without feeling like they are entering a cold office building. We like it this way because it keeps things grounded and honest. That's pretty much who we are.
