Broadway Foundry & Engineering Works

We are right on G T Road, which is always busy and loud with all the trucks passing by. Broadway Foundry & Engineering Works has been sitting here for a long time now. You can usually tell where we are because of the heat coming from the shop floor. We do a lot of casting and heavy metal work, so it isn't the cleanest place to work in. There’s soot and scrap metal lying around in the yard. We don't have a fancy sign, just the work we do every day. Most of the guys here have been working these machines since they were young. It’s hard work, especially when the furnace is running in the middle of a hot afternoon. We don’t have any marketing people or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just take the orders, melt the metal, and pour it into the molds. Sometimes things don't go perfectly on the first try, so we do them again until they’re right. It’s just how engineering goes when you’re dealing with fire and iron. The G T Road is a tough place to be, but it’s home for us. We’re used to the noise and the grit. People stop by because they know we’ve been here forever. We don't bother with much else besides the foundry work. It’s honest, sweaty work and that’s plenty for us to focus on.
