Aronzonia Foundation

Aronzonia Foundation is at H No. 32/5 in Gali No. 2, Vijay Nagar, just off Batala Road. It’s a bit of a maze back in these alleys, but once you find Gali No. 2, we are right there. The office is basically a front room in a residential building. We like it because it keeps us close to the people in the neighborhood. It’s not a polished corporate space by any means. We have some mismatched furniture and a ceiling fan that clicks when it’s on the highest setting. Most of the day is spent handling phone calls and sorting through mail. The street outside is usually full of kids playing or people heading to the market. It’s a very local feel. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just rely on being here and doing what we do. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a break for a few minutes. We keep our files in some old metal cabinets that stick a bit when you try to open them. It’s a real place with real problems, like the leaky tap in the small bathroom. But we are happy here at Batala Road. It’s where we started and it’s where we plan to stay for the foreseeable future. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the tasks we have on our desks each morning.
