Arens Gold Souk

We’ve been here in Gurdaspur at 3888 Shiv Nagar Mohalla for a while now. Most people around here know the street well. It’s a busy spot especially in the mornings when everyone is out and about. We run Arens Gold Souk from this small corner. It isn't a fancy place with high-end furniture, just a regular shop where we keep our things. We spend most of our day sitting behind the counter and talking to folks who stop by. Sometimes people just come in to ask for directions or chat about the weather. Punjab summers are tough, so the fan is always running. We handle gold items and things like that, but mostly it's just about keeping the shop open and seeing who comes in. Shiv Nagar is a tight neighborhood. Everyone knows everyone else's business. We like it that way because it feels safe and familiar. My uncle used to say that a shop is only as good as the people who visit it, and we get a lot of locals from the Mohalla. We don't really do much advertising because the sign outside does enough. If you’re walking down the road past the old school, you’ll see us. We keep the glass cases clean and try to stay organized, though some days are messier than others when new stock arrives. It’s just how things go here at the Souk. It is a simple life and we are happy enough with it.
