Vijayalaxmi Clinic

Vijayalaxmi Clinic is found on 1st Lane in Old Guntur. We are situated right near the Shakuntala Gate, which is a big landmark around here. It is a busy spot with lots of people moving back and forth. Our clinic is quite small and has been part of the neighborhood for a long time. It is not a shiny new hospital. It is just a local clinic where people come when they are sick or need a checkup. We have a simple waiting room with some wooden benches and a few old fans. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, but we try to keep it comfortable. The doctor and the staff are all from this area, so we know most of the families who live nearby. We don't have any fancy medical talk or expensive machines. We just do our best to help the people who walk through the door. People usually find us just by asking someone on the street. "Go near Shakuntala Gate," they tell them. We don't use any ads or brochures. Our work speaks for itself. It is a very plain and honest place. We open up early in the morning and see people until late in the evening sometimes. It is a steady life and we are happy to be here in Old Guntur. We just keep the doors open and take care of the folks who need us.
