V. S. V. Architects

V. S. V. Architects is our small firm located at 7-17-78 in Sri Nagar, specifically on the 4th Lane in Guntur. Our office is right opposite the Sri Chennakesava Residency. If you are coming from the Arundelpet side, we are near the 17th Lane 3rd Cross. It is a residential kind of neighborhood, so it stays relatively calm compared to the main market areas. We have a simple setup here. It’s basically just a room where we keep our drawing tools, some old project files, and our computers. We spend most of our time here working on architectural designs for people in the neighborhood and surrounding areas. We’ve lived and worked in Guntur for a long time, so we know the local building styles pretty well. Sometimes we are out in the sun at a site, and other times we are stuck inside trying to fix a drawing that isn’t quite right. We don't use any big words or complicated processes. People just come in, tell us they want to build something, and we start sketching. It’s a very hands-on type of business. The 4th Lane in Sri Nagar is a nice place to be based. It feels more like a community than a business district. We like the fact that our clients are often our neighbors. We keep our office doors open during the day and there is usually some tea going. It’s just us doing our bit for the local buildings. The residency across the street is a good landmark for people who haven't been to this part of Sri Nagar before. We usually have a lot of local gossip coming in with the clients.
