Taruna Signs is out on the road that connects Penumaka and Vijayawada. We are based in Undavalli. It’s a good spot because a lot of people pass by on their way into the city every day. We make signs for all sorts of things—shops, roads, and local events. Our workshop is basically a big open space where we can lay out the materials and paint. It gets pretty hot during the middle of the day, but we keep the fans going to stay cool. We aren't a big corporation with a marketing team or a sales department. It’s just a small group of us who know how to put letters together and make them stay on a board. We’ve lived around Undavalli for a long time, so we know the people here. Often, someone will stop their bike just to say hello or ask about a sign they need for their farm or a small store. The road can be dusty, and the rain sometimes makes things difficult for the paint to dry, but we manage. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make signs. We use paint, vinyl, and metal mostly. If you are driving on the Penumaka-Vijayawada road, you’ll see our place easily enough. We usually have a few half-finished signs leaning against the front wall while the paint dries in the sun. It’s a quiet way to make a living and we don't mind the hard work.
