Shankar Pest Control & Travels

We have a bit of an unusual setup here at Shankar Pest Control & Travels. We are located on the 13th Line, Main Road in Arundelpet, Guntur. Our office is right opposite Kalaniketan, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. It’s a funny mix, doing both pest control and travel, but that’s how we’ve always done it. One minute we might be talking to someone about a termite problem, and the next, we are booking a car for someone’s trip to the city. It keeps the day interesting, that’s for sure. The 13th Line is a busy street, and being across from a big shop like Kalaniketan means there’s always people and cars moving around outside. The office isn't very big, and it’s often filled with supplies for the pest control side of things or stacks of travel brochures. We’ve been in Arundelpet for a long time, and people know they can come to us for both things. It’s a family-run kind of place, so it feels very local and informal. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; it’s just us handling whatever needs doing. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the equipment, but we make it work. We just take each day as it comes, whether we are dealing with bugs or buses. It is a practical life, and we are happy to be part of the Arundelpet community.
