Raghavendra Driving School

We are set up right across from Seetharamaiah High School in Guntur. It’s a pretty lively spot, especially when the school bell rings and all the kids come pouring out onto the street. We spend our days teaching people how to handle a car without panicking. Guntur can be quite hot, so sitting in a car for hours at a time is definitely a bit of a challenge, but we have our ways of staying cool. We usually start with the basics, like how to use the mirrors and where the indicators are, before we even think about heading into the heavier traffic. Most of the people who come to us are locals who just want to be able to get to work or run errands without needing a ride from someone else. The office is just a small place where we handle the forms and keep the records. It is nothing special, just a practical space to get things done. We have been doing this for years, so we know all the quiet streets where beginners can practice without getting overwhelmed by the Guntur traffic. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting for the student to get the hang of things, but it’s satisfying when they finally do. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the cars in good shape for the next learner. It is a simple life, but it keeps us busy enough.
