R K Eye Center is sitting right in Kotha Peta here in Guntur. You can’t really miss us if you’re looking for the Anna Srinivasa Rao Kalyana Mandapam, because we are directly opposite that. It’s a pretty well-known landmark in this part of town. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while. Our days usually start early, getting things ready before the first people show up. Being in Guntur, it gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. The clinic isn't huge, but it's got what we need to check people's eyes. We see all sorts of folks, from kids to the elderly. Some people just need a quick check, others stay longer. We know the local shops around Kotha Peta well, and sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby during a break. It’s a nice community feel. The traffic on the road out front can be a bit much during wedding season because of the Mandapam across the street, but we’ve gotten used to it. We just focus on the work inside. It's a steady job, and we like being part of the neighborhood. We don't use any fancy talk, just explain things simply to whoever comes in. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a bit longer because a complicated case came in, and they usually understand. Life in Kotha Peta moves at its own pace. We aren't in a rush to be the biggest clinic.
