If you ever come to Ithanagar in Tenali, you can find our office at Door No: 4/43/12. If you know the Guntur district at all, you know it gets pretty busy around here during the day. Our branch of Qassim Cement Company is just a plain office where we handle the daily grind of the cement business. It’s not a fancy showroom with air conditioning and soft chairs. It’s mostly just us, some desks, and a lot of paperwork. We deal with people who are building houses or fixing up shops. Cement is heavy and dusty work, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years now. Most of the people who come to see us are from around Tenali or the nearby villages. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. We just answer the phone and tell people what we have in stock. Sometimes the traffic in town makes the deliveries slow, but that’s just life in Andhra Pradesh. We know our neighbors and they know us. If you walk past our door, you’ll probably hear us talking about the latest prices or local news. It’s a very simple setup. We don’t try to act like a big city corporation. We’re just local folks working in the building trade. It keeps us busy from morning until evening. Not much else to tell really, we just keep the supply moving as best as we can.
