Viswajyothi Traders

Viswajyothi Traders is situated right near the Guntur Mirch Yard. If you’ve ever been down Nallabadu Road, you know it smells like spices and dust most of the time. It’s a busy area with trucks coming and going at all hours. We’ve been operating out of this spot because it makes sense for the trade. It isn't a clean, air-conditioned office with glass walls. Mostly, it’s just a practical space where we can store things and talk to the drivers. The heat gets pretty bad in the summer, but we have a few fans going. People stop by to check prices or just to have a quick chat about the market. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth works better around here. Everyone knows everyone else in the yard. My father used to say that if you stay in one place long enough, the business builds itself. I think he was right. We handle the daily tasks ourselves, from unloading to keeping the books. It’s tiring work, especially when the sun is high, but we like the routine. The road outside is always under repair, it feels like. You just get used to the noise and the grit. We’re just a local outfit trying to keep things steady and handle the trading the way it’s always been done. There is always something to do, so we just keep our heads down and work.
