Poorna Sarees

Poorna Sarees is located on Tenali Road, near Kotta Ramalayam in Bhargava Peta. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people, especially on festival days or weekends. You can hear the temple bells from inside the shop sometimes. We specialize in sarees, as the name suggests. It’s a traditional business. I learned about fabrics from my family, and now I run this place. The sarees are stacked high on the shelves, categorized by color and material. It takes a lot of work to keep them all folded neatly. When a customer wants to see something, we unfold it across the counter so they can see the whole pattern. Then we have to fold it back up perfectly, which is an art in itself. The shop has a big front window that looks out onto Tenali Road. I watch the buses go by while I’m waiting for the next person to walk in. Bhargava Peta is a busy neighborhood, and there’s always something happening outside. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or bright neon signs. It’s a simple, traditional store. I spend my days talking to women who are looking for something for a wedding or just for daily wear. It’s a slow process sometimes, picking the right one, but we don’t rush anyone. We’ve been here near Kotta Ramalayam for a long time, and we’re part of the local fabric here. It is just how we do things.
