Nirmala Glass & Fiber Industry

Our shop is located in Lakshmi Narayanapuram, right across from the Medical Club near Chuttugunta. If you walk past D.No. 25-16-87/16, you will see us. The air here usually smells a bit like resin and glass dust. It is a messy business, working with fiber and glass, and our clothes often show it by the end of a shift. We spend most of our time cutting sheets to size or layering up the fiberglass. The floor is always covered in small offcuts that we sweep up at night. It is a loud place because of the grinders and cutters going off. We do not have a big fancy showroom, just the workspace where all the actual building happens. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to move stuff around to make space in the back. Our neighbors at the Medical Club probably hear us more than they would like. We have been handling these materials for a long time so our hands are pretty rough. We just get on with the orders as they come in. There is a small desk in the corner for the phone and the ledger. It is a lot of physical labor and sweating under the lights. We focus on the task at hand and try to stay out of the sun when it gets too hot outside.
