Meenakshi Eye & Maternity Centre

We’re located over on Old Club Road in Guntur, right in the Kothapeta area. It’s a busy place with a lot of traffic and people moving around all day. We started this centre because we saw that families in our neighborhood needed a place they could actually talk to people without feeling rushed. It's not a giant hospital with hundreds of beds. We’re smaller, and we like it that way. When you walk in, you’ll probably see me or one of the nurses chatting with someone. We don't have those automated machines for everything; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. It gets pretty loud in the mornings when everyone shows up at once, but we manage. We try to make the place feel a bit more comfortable, maybe not like a fancy hotel, but at least like a home. There are always toys scattered around for the kids and magazines that are a bit out of date. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people telling their friends about us. If we can help someone see better or help a new mom feel a bit less worried, then it’s a good day for us. We’ve been here for years and we know the streets around here like the back of our hand.
