Max Balaji Cancer Care Centre is located on Gowri Sankar Theatre Road in Kothapet. It’s a busy street, especially when there’s a new movie playing nearby. Working in cancer care is a serious business, but we try to keep the mood in the clinic steady and calm for everyone. The building is straightforward with no unnecessary frills. Inside, we have the basic rooms for consultations and treatments. I spend a lot of my time answering the phone and helping people figure out their appointment times. It can be a difficult place to work because of the illnesses we deal with, but we just focus on the daily tasks of helping people get their care. The waiting area is simple, with enough chairs for the patients and their families. We see people from all walks of life coming through these doors. Most of them are looking for some clarity on what is happening with their health. We don't use any fancy marketing talk here. We just provide the medical services that are needed. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We’ve become a part of the local landscape in Kothapet over time. It’s a dedicated group of people working here, and we just do our best to keep things moving smoothly. There’s always more paperwork to file or another patient to see. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a long day but worthwhile.
