Our office is tucked away at Dr. No. 20-6-67, right on the 2nd line of Pandaripuram. It’s on Anjaih Road, so it isn’t too hard to find if you know the area. We do a lot of geo-tech stuff, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at dirt and rocks. The office is usually a bit of a mess with maps and soil samples sitting around in containers. We don’t really mind the clutter because it shows we’re actually doing something. Most of our days are split between being out in the field and then coming back here to write things down. It’s a small team, so everyone knows everyone. We usually grab lunch from one of the shops nearby on the main road. The 2nd line gets a little busy in the afternoons, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of someone typing or looking over a report. We don’t have a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just a plain door and some hardworking folks inside. People come to us when they need to know what’s going on underground before they build something. We just give them the facts without making it sound more complicated than it needs to be. It’s a practical kind of life, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Pandaripuram. It’s a good spot for us to keep things running.
