Lalitha Hospital

We’ve been here in Kothapet for a long time now. Lalitha Hospital is just a regular building where we spend most of our daylight hours. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the traffic outside and the staff arriving one by one. It’s a busy corner. People walk in with all sorts of things going on. Some are just here for a quick check, others stay longer. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. The walls are a plain color and the chairs are the sturdy kind that have seen a lot of use over the years. We keep the registers on the front desk and sometimes they get a bit messy when it’s crowded. Kothapet is a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry, so we try to just do our part without too much fuss. There’s a small tea stall nearby where the drivers wait. Inside, it smells like cleaning supplies and sometimes coffee. We know most of the people who come through the doors because they live just a few streets away. It’s not like those big corporate places you see in the city center. We just open the doors, turn on the lights, and see who needs help today. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we have to wait for the generator. It’s just how things are here. We don't make a big deal out of it. We just keep going until the shift ends.
