We are over at Plot No 30 in Block No 03 of the Shafiullah Complex. Being in Auto Nagar means there is always something going on nearby. It’s an industrial area, so you hear a lot of noise from the shops and the trucks moving in and out of the 3rd Cross. Laakshanya Exports And Imports Private Limited isn't a fancy place. We’ve got a lot of boxes and paperwork everywhere because we are always sending things out or bringing them in. It's a lot of manual work sometimes. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the routine. Some days are slow and we just sit around checking lists, and other days it feels like we can't keep up. The complex itself has seen better days, but it serves the purpose. We don't really do much in terms of decorating the office. It's mostly just functional. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the loading is done right. It’s hard work and it gets dusty out here in the industrial zone. But we like it. It’s a real place where things actually happen. We’ve been at this for a bit now and we know the neighbors. You won't find any corporate speeches here. We just handle the imports and exports as they come and try to keep things moving as best as we can.
